Smile!

A quick Shizuka sketch, cause she's been on the mind a lot lately!! (´∀｀)♡

Shizuka is very fun to work with when it comes to expressions, because she's rotten the scarring of her mouth and neck are not very strong, and easily tear apart and split when she gets overly excited or moves too fast. When she smiles her entire face basically tears open and she often might start dripping, which really drives her crazy and triggers her body image issues terribly. Because of that she not only hides behind the mask almost all the time, but does everything she can to avoid smiling or laughing. It's very difficult because she's a very happy person when she isn't distracted forcing herself to think about bad things.

Thankfully Ken and the girls do not mind her deformities and she can feel comfortable around them. Tsu really loves it cause it gives her a chance to clean up a mess when Shizuka drips goop and blood!.. Of course cleaning it with her tongue. Nobody is more alright with Shizuka's smile though than Mari, who thinks it is adorable.
