Sixth piece for

Metroid March!

And the final piece for the original NES Metroid!! The big ***** herself.

Mother Brain's original NES incarnation was always a weird little thing, personally her elephant-like tusks are something I wish she retained as a staple of her design!! I'm not happy with Zero Mission having changed her into just looking like the Super Mother Brain. She's elephantine in lots of ways though that I think is just really neat and, frankly, alien. She's really weird. It goes beyond a simple Frankenstein-esque pulpy cartoon brain in a jar and transcends into some weird living amalgamation of flesh and metal, I loved her weird frontal area that I always saw as being a trunk! Maybe it's the tusks yet again bringing that to mind, but it's cool, it reminds me of the Space Jockey from the original Alien and given how much of it directly influenced Metroid, that seriously may have been intentional!

Don't let Ridley Scott make the next Metroid game though or he'll redesign her yet again into being a giant albino handsome squidward.
