Yes I went there, an Other M piece! Don't worry it's the only one haha!
Believe it or not I don't entirely hate the game, I actually think it's a pretty fun ride. And after recent events I think Nintendo even somehow found a way to surpass it in terms of insult toward the fans of the series so Other M doesn't even seem as bad now. Still, it's nowhere near what I'd call good. I'm not gonna get too into detail but at the end of the day I think it's a lot of fun to play so have to give it credit for that. The story, the voice acting, the poor characterization, the atrociously ugly art and enemy design, the terribly bland and generic soundtrack withstanding... Huh... Why do I like Other M again?
OH YEAH Two words
Yet another thing I know nobody else seems to agree on haha! Everyone since the release of that game picked on the poor little thing and said it's just as egregious an affront to the series as Samus herself is but I never saw it, to me, he's a highlight! I MEAN LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS.... I love him so much, I wish he got merch!! I really love the idea behind him in general, he doesn't belong in the series in any capacity but then again that's pretty much true of this entire game itself isn't it. I think he helps it have more of it's own identity that way! He's very Jurassic Parky, the research team being so incompetent on the Bottle Ship that they accidentally cloned some sort of animal not even knowing HOW THEY GOT IT and didn't even think of the possible implications and instead said 'let's just keep him as a cute pet hee' I REALLY LIKE IT. People always hate on the fact that it's a Baby Ridley but I really don't think it actually ever was intended to be that, I think it's just an amalgamation of different species that created a total metamorphosing cluster**** of a beast. It's fun seeing him play tricks on you to grow too!
Oh my GOOOODDDD Little Birdie is so cute, I love when he whistles to himself TT__TT I love that he's an evil little vicious and carnivorous mix of a Furby and a Terror Bird I want one, I WANT TEN.
