The Most Wretched Time of the Year

I HATE X-MAS! HATE IT HATE IT HAAAAAAATE IT!

It's December! So that means it's time for holiday or wintery themed art to start poppin up in my gallery at any given time! I think it'd be good to get the most grouchy and grinchiest of them all out of the way first so as to not put up with this fuzzy little poop's whining around X-Mas. This guy's a character that's completely new to DA, say hello to Yere Scrueger. (the first name is pronounced like it rhymes with Jerry)

Yere is a Crabulon that was born with a very strange defect, HAIR! Luscious and soft tufts of hair sprouting over almost his entire body, growing up he was taunted tirelessly by his peers and fellow children, his childhood was not a fun one always at the butt end of jokes and bullied verbally as well as physically, Yere always begged Mummy and Duddy to buy him a shaving kit for him. For many years he would always ask for nothing but that for his birthdays and every X-Mas, but alas he'd only be showered with trifles. Poor Yere lived like this for eight years until one day a brilliant idea hit him....

SANTA!!!!! 

He'd ask that jolly green man in red that's right, dumbfounded he never thought to do so for all those years after his parents failed him repeatedly, Yere wrote Santa a letter and had his parents mail it, there was no way this X-Mas would end without his shaving kit he pined for. Soon X-Mas Day came and.... Toys... Toys, and more toys... With no shaving kit in sight, Santa ignored him. His one, last, chance at a happy childhood and social life was destroyed, up in flames like hot coals. From that day forth Yere  grew an immense and boiling hatred for the holiday and for Santa himself, a total scrooge, the once nice well mannered and sweet little child now became a cold malicious and crabby jerk. Yere for the most part became a hermit in his adulthood, nobody would ever want to be in his company regardless given his foul attitude, he took delight in ruining cheer and joy for everyone that crossed his path. And then, one fateful year, he finally set out to make that desire come true. A lifetime of research paid off, Yere had located the actual location of Santa's workshop in a distant quadrant of space. The myth was true, Mr Claus was no legend, and the legend was about to be crushed in the furry claws of this angry Scroogey Scrueger taking the fat man out and the holiday down with him. 

Yere's based on Yeti Crabs, a type of deep sea crustacean that are white and have hair growths on their bodies. He's a villain and if you can't figure it out by now will be the antagonist of a future Christmas (X-Mas) episode of Astronautical. And here's some fun trivia, Yere is one of the few of my characters I actually have an actor picked out as a fitting voice for them. If I could pick anybody to voice act for Yere it would be Malcolm McDowell IT'S SO CUTE JUST IMAGINE THAT.
