The Crushy Crab

Ah! Another drawing of Prince Quash! The cute little crabcake I introduced the other day, but this time, he's accompanied by someone else, she was in the last drawing too but it's time for a real introduction. Say hellooooo to Scarlet!

Scarlet's a suuuper duper new character addition to the series, being only  few weeks old, but gosh do I love her! I have to give a shout out to OddVibe cause I probably wouldn't have come up with the idea if it weren't for her!

I'd commissioned her to make a plushie of 's character Stella as a Christmas gift.   Stella Plush And she ended up making me a tiny little Crabulon as a surprise gift! Now it'd just've been a normal ordinary Crabulon but she got a very special accessory, one of the prototype capes for the Stella doll that ended up being too small to use! It just happened to fit perfectly on the Crabulon plush! Since it was purple, I couldn't help but think it looked like it was trying to cosplay Prince Quash, and was like an uber fanboy/girl or something! AND IT HAPPENED-

Scarlet, like all low class Crabulons was born with a serial number and no name. Names are illegal within the Empire, for they raise individuality and distract from the unity you are expected to give for the Empire. Crabulons despise it, and one of the methods that Quash used to secretly amass an underground following to help overthrow his father was to tell them that under his rule, he'd give them names, and more rights. The first Crabulon he ever gave a name to at one of his first rallies was Scarlet, he chose her out of a crowd at pure random, but to her, this was destiny.

Scarlet is a very, air-headed girl. And a hapless romantic. She only even went to the secret meeting Quash held as an excuse to see the handsome Prince, she never would have guessed he'd choose her out of the three-eyed faces that night though, and the fact that he did made her assume he must've found her pretty or liked her. And unfortunately for him, from that day forward her crush became an obsession. A very, unhealthy, obsession.

Scarlet is the most loyal follower of Quash, she works harder than any of the others in hopes that the young Prince will love her back. She cannot seem to comprehend the fact that he's a homosexual and is frankly repulsed by females, her most of all, and tries to run or screams when she is near him. She thinks he's just playing hard to get. In the present day since Quash's follower count is absolutely puny he can't afford to treat his followers like crap as much as he always has, and Scarlet's behavior is more flirtatious and aggravating than ever but he can't bring himself to lose another follower, so he puts up with it grudgingly. Scarlet doesn't mean to be annoying though she just can't help herself when he's around, and she always tries to make him be around. She's the ultimate fan-girl and is always wearing that stupid cape she made for herself. She always calls Quash, 'Prince' something he detests but she refuses to call him 'Emperor' because she says it makes him sound old. She loves to call herself Princess~

POOR BBY is she ever gonna get through that cold carapace and warm his heart?!
